Community Engagement
Youths have committed over 48 hours of Community Engagement activities such as: renovating a
3,000 sq ft space at Wilmington Middle School, providing youth students with a safe “teen zone” for them to learn, socialize, and study. Partnering with Generosity Feeds to prepare over 30,000 meals for kids and local community organizations and 800 meals and care cards donated to our local heroes.
Youth Read-A-Thon
Love for Literacy
Our annual Read-A-Thon provides youth throughout Los Angeles County with the opportunity to submit a book report for a chance to win great prizes! Our first Read-A-Thon in 2021 we were able to provide fifteen youth with prizes such as iPad mini's, Kindles and Amazon Gift cards!
Meals 4 Heroes
Covid-19 Edition
The 2020 pandemic didn't stop us from giving back to our community.
You Run This Town Foundation partnered with local businesses to share our appreciation to local our heroes. We donated meals to over 500 children and 800 meals to our local healthcare workers and first responders.

Wilmington Middle School
Social Hall Renovation
You Run This Town Foundation collaboration with Wilmington Middle School to create an exciting and safe space for youth. With over 3,000 square feet of space,
YRTTF remodeled Wilmington's Social Hall where youth can learn,

Generosity Feeds & Mod Pizza Sponsored Partnership with YRTTF
YRTTF partnered with Generosity Feeds and Mod Pizza in an epic event preparing and packing over 33,000 meals for children in Los Angeles County. Thank you to St. Anthony High School, Cal State Long Beach students and our LA community for making this event happen!

Wilmington Middle School Book Drive
YRTTF hosted a book drive for Wilmington Middle School. Hundreds of books were donated to youth to encourage learning, creative thinking and writing.
